While we’re on the subjects of favorites this week here at The Diva Blog, I have an incredible giveaway today for you, and I am SUPER excited about it! Why, you ask? Because this giveaway features a product that is one of our favorites at our house, getting used almost daily. No joke! We got the chance to review a Fort Magic playset back in the Spring. A toy based on building and creativity, Fort Magic does not disappoint! Here’s an excerpt from our previous review…
Ever wish that your kiddos would spend less time playing video games and watching television? Jeremy and I are always making sure that the kids don’t spend too much time in front of a screen, but it can be difficult sometimes. Whether it’s bad weather keeping them indoors or just a case of the ‘I’m bored’s, some days it’s hard to find an activity that keeps them entertained. The kids and I were recently introduced to an innovative new product for kids that has revolutionized indoor play for my children! Created by homeschooling mom Erika Pope-Gusev, Fort Magic is the newest favorite toy at our house. Think Tinker Toys on a much grander scale, with over 300 pieces that enable your children to build life-size structures including pirate ships, playhouses, submarines, and more!
The set includes both straight AND curved building pieces in seven different sizes (142), as well as connector pieces (77), 130 fabric clips to keep those sheets and blankets secure covering your creations (an extremely important piece that makes this set super unique), and new to the set, 10 additional 6-Way connectors and 2 24″ sticks! Sounds like a lot of mess to keep track of? No worries! Fort Magic comes with a durable storage bag that keeps everything nice and neat. It really is quick and easy to clean up!
Earlier this week (before I even knew I’d have the opportunity to feature this product again), the kids has gotten out the Fort Magic and decided to build a fun tent in our bonus room. Our Fort Magic set gets used to build all sorts of things including pretend horses, “Budgie” (Luke’s pretend pet that seems to be something like a dinosaur), tents, submarines, airplanes, and more. The kiddos create their own designs all the time, but they also love looking at the fantastic designs available on the Fort Magic website. Easy to follow designs give your kids and endless possibility of creative construction projects, and the easy-to-use set means they can be the builders without your help!
In their tent (which is still in our bonus room awaiting a playdate), the kiddos hung a lantern for light, brought pillows and blankets in to make it nice and comfy, and even built a microphone stand coming out of the inside in case they felt like some karaoke.
